How to change windshield on motorcycle.

The bike is a 2007 Honda Cbr600rr and I got a tinted windshield and really want to just put it on myself. I was wondering if there was a step by step thing or a manual on how to take it off without breaking anything and put the new one on with no problems.|||I%26#039;ve done it but not on a honda. I did it on a zx-6. It was a huge paine. i had to remove the dash panel that surrounds the speedo. The screws go through the fairing, through the windshield, and into the dash panel. Getting all three of those lined up long enough to run a screw through the holes was tough. Took 2 days.





I would have rather paid somebody to do it.|||Dude what instructions you need? Just unscrew the screws, pull the windshield out and put the new one in place. Screw the screws back in and your done. The pain is getting the shield in place to screw the screws back in.

|||No it isnt that easy you have to take the whole front off of it and then screw it on.

|||I%26#039;ve never done it, my friend did on a 2005 CBR600RR. I remember him saying that the clips are extremely sensitive but it was easy. Just don%26#039;t break the clips|||If your not a mechanic, then take it to the shop and have them put it on, if they break it, then they will have to buy you a new one.





You could be riding already with it on, if you took it to them.|||Mattnew! I read this, too. I%26#039;d take it to a shop close by and pay to have it done. If they break anything, they have to replace it.
