I changed my oil and when replacing the sticker on the windshield, I noticed the previous mechanic checked the synthetic oil box on the sticker. I had already used regular oil because that's what I normally do. Will this cause harm ?

No it won't hurt, as a matter of fact, Ford requires a synthetic blend in most of their vehicles. It is synthetic mixed with regular oil.
