New car with only 7000 miles and i got hit with a rock and it left a bullseye and cracked 3 ways. Can local glass shop change or is it a dealer thing? Please help...

Any glass shop can replace this windshield. If you take it to the dealer, they'll just call in a glass shop to do it for them. Then, they'll mark up the bill.

Take it to your Nissan dealer, and they would recommend who to go to. They'll tell you the right glass, because they can tell you which glass was fitted when it was produced.
Call the glass shop. They're in the yellow pages.
You can let either one change it out for you. There is a way to have the crack sealed if the crack is small enough for you to ignore. (If your deduct able is 100 or less they may do it for free.)
Check in the yellow pages, the dealer ship will just charge you way to much... and some glass repair shops will come to you, so if you work all day or are in school, they will come to you and you wont lose time at work or have to miss class.... good luck!!

Be certain if you are not going through insurance, you tell the glass company, they have an outrageous markup for insurance!
